Are you an experienced player who need a fine substitute for his main axe?
Or a novice who wants to make a large jump in quality for a small investment?
Whether you need to improve in quality with your next guitar or you wish to leave your main axe at home, with over twenty (20) models to choose
from, Tuscany guitars have everything the high price models have and more: solid wood, good pickups and hardware, set neck, pearloid inlays, solid tops...
They're just not another copy, but fine collector replicas of some of the coolest vintage instruments of all time, enhanced with our 21st century upgrades for the modern player.
We have carefully respected the original specifications of these collectible instruments, changed the shapes a bit, while at times adding our own special
enhancements where the passage of time has taught us small areas where these relics benefit from modern knowledge.
All instruments are fitted with proper setup prior to leaving the company in Italy. This means that you will receive a ready to use Tuscany guitar or bass
which will require little or even no intervent on your side to be played immediately.
Canadian maple necks
Premium wood bodies
One of the features that make our instruments stand upon all other in this price range are the premium woods we use for construction.
Never before such good quality have been available in this price range.
Canadian maple necks, US alder, basswood and selected mahogany are used
for the necks and bodies, meaning that the tone which will be later delivered to the pickups starts acoustically from the wood.
Tight fit neck joint
Real solid maple tops
A particular care has been taken in reproducing the original construction specification of each model and the small details that make an instrument a
great one, like for example a tight fit neck joint for the best tone transmission and a refined fret job for a relaxed left hand work.
Rush model is also
fitted with a TRUE solid maple top to respect the original tone. The top is then covered with a very thin AAAA flame top veneer for that beautifullook you see in the photos.
Professional nut job
Quality hardware
All nuts on Tuscany instruments are prepared by our luthiers to be refined at the correct string height so your performance is easy as could
only be on an instruments that passed in the best guitar doctor hands. This allow you to easy run your virtuosism on the fretboard.
Quality hardware is also important for tone especially where good woods has been used for construction. All our hardware is Korean made by the same
factories that serve the "big names".
Double action truss rod
Wilkinson WVP6 tremolo
All our instruments are equipped with a double action truss rod. A double action can add back bow as well as forward bow (relief) to
the strings tension on the neck, allowing you to perfectly tailor the neck to your playing feel.
The new VW6 Wilkinson vintage replica tremolo features deep string insert meaning that less friction is applied to the strings under a dive
tremolo use which translates in more tuning stability. This great tremolo is also equipped with a vintage style big sustain block capable to transmitting a long sustain
to each note.
Quality alnico pickups
Special 5 way switch
Each Tuscany instrument features a different model of pickup. The type of magnet, ceramic or alnico were carefuly choosen according to the tone we strived for.
Alnico 5 and 2 is used where a vintage is required and ceramic where a more powerful and rock tone is what we are looking for.
54 and Luxor models are equipped with a special
Frudua 5 way switch (the same used on Galeazzo's high end handmade guitars) which enables the neck + bridge picfups to work together in position 3 for that wonderfull "telly" tone.
Wilkinson EZ-Lock tuners
Collectible details
Each Tuscany models equipped with a tremolo sports a set of Wilkinson EZ-lock tuners. These tuners features two string post holes drilled at 90 degrees from each other
at different heights. They allow to better tailor the pressure of the strings on the nut fro tremolo use and to also tighter fix the strings thanks to the double post holes.
Just pull the string through one hole real tight, wrap it 3/4 around the post and pull tight through the other hole. Then tune to pitch, cut the string and you're done.
Finally a word on the details which make a guitar a collectible piece of art. Wonderful pearl inlays and multilayer bindings, refined logos and aged
finished necks give the Tuscany guitars and basses that awsome appeal which can easily compete against guitars costing up to 5 times the price.
